Took your advice Tidewater and checked out Tim Renwick on the net and was surprised to find I was familiar with him and didn't know it,having seen him in some videos with Claptons band and Pink Floyd. Also know some of his other work from that impressive resume you listed. Thanks for the tip,you learn something every day.

You know the old bit about it's better to give than to receive - never agreed with it myself, but !!!!!!

Check out the first two Sutherland Brothers albums (just for the songs - no Renwick) e.g. "The Pie" (still one of my all time favourite unrequited love songs), the original "Sailing" as murdered by Rod Stewart and others and "Real Love" with magnificent swirling Steve Winwood (yes, him) keyboards as it reaches its climax.

Then, for Tim Renwick, check out the later 'SB&Q' "Reach For The Sky" album and the "When The Train Comes" track in particular.

Then, if you feel tempted, check out the SB&Q "Dream Kid" and "Beat of the Street" albums - these like the above are all bargain basement material and they ain't gonna cost you an arm and a leg.

Then, get all your Santana and Eric Clapton (anything / everything after 'Layla') albums and stick them on the bonfire.

Then, sell-up and move to Cornwall and stalk the Bucket Boys.

You know it makes sense ............

Me, I live in Thailand, they won't have me back in the UK but they can't stop me playing the music !!!!!
